Live Telemetry & Logger

Capture everything, decode it later

The LTL unit records every frame on three CAN FD buses together with GPS position and analog sensors, streams it live over LTE and stores it end-to-end encrypted in the cloud. You decide later what it means. Use the Windows app or the mobile app to watch the car live, analyse sessions, time laps, raise alarms, talk to the driver and send data to your own software.

Capture once, decode forever

Most loggers make you decide up front which channels to record. LTL doesn't: it keeps the raw CAN traffic, so the data you didn't know you needed is already there.
  1. Record everything - Every frame on every CAN ID on all three CAN FD buses is kept, plus GPS. Nothing is filtered or thrown away on the car.
  2. Decode later, many times - Change a scaling, add a newly found signal or apply a different schema, then decode the same session again. Old sessions benefit from every new discovery.
  3. Efficient compression - Only changed data is sent and everything is compressed, so a full-bus recording stays small enough for cellular data.
  1. Three CAN FD buses - Three independent CAN FD buses, compatible with classic CAN. Each runs at 250, 500 or 1000 kbit/s or detects the speed itself by listening quietly first. Log the powertrain, chassis and your own sensor network at the same time.
  2. Analog inputs - Eight 12-bit analog inputs for sensors the car's CAN bus doesn't carry, such as extra temperatures, pressures or suspension travel. They're recorded alongside CAN and GPS and scaled with custom signals.
  3. OBD2 polling - On cars without an open CAN stream, LTL asks the car's ECU for standard OBD2 data such as RPM, speed, coolant temperature and throttle, on any bus, and records the answers like any other CAN data.

Connectivity & storage

The car isn't always in coverage. LTL is built for that.
  1. Works out of the box - A global SIM is built in and stays active as long as your LTL Link LTE plan is. There are no SIM cards to buy, no operator contracts and no APN settings: fit the unit, power it up, and it's online.
  2. Wi-Fi - Use a Wi-Fi network, such as the paddock, workshop or a phone hotspot, as the unit's internet connection instead of LTE.
  1. Offline storage - If the connection drops, the unit keeps recording to its own storage and uploads the backlog automatically when it reconnects. No gaps and no lost laps.
  2. Unlimited cloud storage - Every session uploaded is kept in the cloud with no limit on how many or how long, and stays accessible for as long as you have the unit, with or without an active plan. Download any session to any of your PCs or phones whenever you need it, and keep a local copy to re-open, re-decode and export offline.

Live

Watch the car from the pit wall, the workshop or the other side of the world, with about a second of delay.
  1. Live dashboards - Build your own layouts with gauges, bars, numbers, graphs, scatter plots, a GPS map with a speed-coloured trace, and lap timing. Live views start instantly from a full snapshot of the car's current state.
  2. Two-way communication - Activate outputs and send CAN messages to the car from the app. The driver acknowledges on the steering-wheel buttons and you see the confirmation, so you know the message got through.
  1. Live CAN trace - See raw CAN traffic live with the latest value per ID and a filter, which is useful when commissioning a new car.
  2. Remote console & settings - Change unit settings and view its log remotely, without going to the car.

Schemas: from raw CAN to channels

A schema says how to turn CAN bytes into named channels such as RPM, oil pressure or throttle. Build your own, import them, or use someone else's.
  1. Official library - Schemas curated and maintained by MME for supported ECUs and devices. Download one and decode straight away.
  2. Community schemas - Schemas shared by other LTL users. Publish your own to help others, and get notified when a schema you use is updated.
  3. Private online library - Your own schemas stored online and available on all your PCs and phones, visible only to you.
  1. DBC import - Bring in existing CAN databases (.dbc), including value names such as gear positions or modes, and use them right away.
  2. Visual schema editor - See exactly which bits a signal uses, with a live preview and a value per signal while connected to the car.
  3. Save & load files - Move schemas, custom signals, alarms and tracks between PCs as plain files.

Reverse engineering, made practical: signal finder

Type in what the car's dash shows, and LTL searches every bit of every CAN frame to find the signal, its scaling and its offset, narrowing it down with each reading you add.

It works live, or on a recorded session by following a channel you already know, such as GPS speed. Apply the match to your schema with one click and fine-tune it in the editor. Hours of guesswork with a hex dump become a few minutes.

Make the data work for you

  1. Custom signals - Create new channels from existing ones with factor and offset, or with 2D/3D lookup tables, for example a sensor curve, a target map or a calculated value. They work live, in analysis and in exports.
  2. Alarms - Combine conditions with AND/OR, such as "oil pressure < 1 bar AND rpm > 3000", with optional turn-off conditions so an alarm doesn't flicker. Alarms are marked on graphs, timelines and the map, live and in recorded sessions.
  1. Tracks & lap timing - Lap timing for circuits and run timing for hill climbs and sprints, with sectors, live delta, predicted lap, best and theoretical best, and session comparison. Choose from official and community track libraries (hundreds of circuits) or draw your own.
  2. Session analysis - Replay any session on your dashboard with a timeline, maximum and average values, alarm markings and lap overlays.

Export & integration

Your data isn't locked in.
  1. CSV export - Export decoded channels to CSV for Excel, MegaLogViewer or any analysis tool, with the channels and schemas you choose.
  2. Live CSV stream -   While the car is running, decoded channels are written to a CSV file row by row as the data arrives, so your own tools, scripts or spreadsheets can read the live data with no API to integrate.
  1. Custom .bin format + API library - A compact binary session format for your own software, with an API library from MME that reads it, so there is no parsing to write and no CSV size limits.
  2. PCAN .trc export - Export the raw CAN traffic as a PCAN trace (.trc) for a full, frame-accurate replay on the bench with standard CAN tools.

Mobile app

The car in your pocket, on Android, paired with a unit by scanning a QR code in the PC app.
  1. Live view - Live channels, GPS map, graphs and scatter plots, with presets per car for channel order and sizes.
  2. Lap & run timing - Live lap timer with delta, nearby track suggestions, and making or editing tracks on the spot that are sent to the PC.
  3. Sessions - Browse and analyse recorded sessions, compare laps and see alarm markings.
  1. Alarms & schemas - Alarms and custom signals synced from the PC. Download schemas from the online libraries directly to the phone.
  2. Remote control - View the unit's console and install firmware updates from the phone.
  3. Self-updating - The app offers new versions itself.

Security & updates

  1. End-to-end encrypted logs - The unit encrypts every log with AES-256-GCM before it leaves the car, using a key that only exists on your PC and the phones you pair. Logs stored in the cloud are unreadable without it, even to us.
  2. Per-device certificates - Each unit, PC and phone has its own certificate, and every request is cryptographically signed.
  1. Upgradable over the internet - Firmware updates are delivered over the air with automatic rollback if an update fails. The PC and mobile apps update themselves too.

Plans

A plan connects your car to the cloud. Your data stays yours either way.
  1. LTL Link (with Wi-Fi) - Uploads every session over Wi-Fi, such as the paddock, the workshop or a phone hotspot. Includes live view and two-way communication with the car.
  1. LTL Link LTE - Everything in LTL Link, plus mobile data through the built-in global SIM. The unit is online wherever there's coverage, with no SIM card, contract or setup on your side.

Storage is always included. Every session already uploaded stays in the cloud and remains yours to view and download, even without an active plan. Only new uploads and live need a plan.

Pricing will be announced soon.
